The Funk Club

Funk Club is a non-profit membership based organisation bringing fun, freedom and good vibes to the people of Perth each week.

The Funk Club itself is located at the Rosemount Hotel every Friday night featuring The Funk Club House Band, DJ Loco Ren and Guest Bands and DJs, in a space that is a cross between a night club and your typical bar/venue.

Nowadays when stepping into the Funk Club you can expect a mixture of DJs, Live bands and "street performance" (Beat-boxers/Breakdancers, Clowns, Fire twirlers, Acrobats, etc, etc), all within the realm of funk and all a lot of fun.

Funk Club attracts over 200 people through its doors each week, with over 500 members and almost 50 different acts on its stages over the past year the Funk Club is poised to grow even further.

A strong focus on local bands, DJs and other artists, the Funk Club has developed a recording label to support Perth Bands to gain exposure, as well as orchestrating larger special events around WA from a social tenpin bowling night with 100 members, to SW tours and New Years Eve celebrations attracting over 2000 people.
